What did we do before online shopping?

I'm sitting around waiting for the UPS guy. I have been a busy girl lately shopping online. I purchased a lot for Christmas online but that's not what's keeping my nose pressed against the window this afternoon. It's the fun stuff I've been buying that you won't be able to pry out of my hands. If. It. Ever. Gets. Here.

Here are some of the cool things I'm waiting for.

Red and white kitchen twine to be used for cookie packaging at my upcoming cookie exchange party. I'm sure it will have lots of other uses as well like wrapping gifts and forming both Christmas and Valentine garlands in the near future.

I also ordered a spool of this brown and white that I'm sure I will figure out a way to use. Feel free to offer up suggestions. I just couldn't pass it up. I mean, come on. It's brown and white. How cute is that?
I also bought this sweet little eraser for myself. Not to use. You know I don't actually make mistakes. But to look at. Because it's sweet and I needed a consolation prize for being stuck at home with nothing to do but clean.

Made to my specification to put on bakery boxes for my guests to take home from the cookie exhange party. I can't wait to see these! I already own some that I use to label bread that I bake for friends.

From Jordan Paper Arts

I first learned about these on this post from Artsy Mama's blog. A very inspiring place to hang out. I ordered 2 boxes of the silver glitter letters and I am so excited to get them. I was just in my favorite scrapbook store this morning and they had them on the shelf. I guess I should have waited to buy them instead of ordering them but I was so excited and afraid I wouldn't be able to find them locally. They are even prettier in person! Can't you just imagine the endless possiblities for these? I'm going to put a box of pink and a box of red on my Christmas wish list.

Lastly I ordered this coverlet with matching bedskirt in the daybed version for my art studio. I'm hoping this room will start coming together soon. Hopefully this will start to inspire me to get moving. First I have to pick a paint color. That's a whole post of it's own...

  1. Omigosh, I'm so flattered that you looked at my blog...yours is the lovely perfection I only dream about. Right after you posted I put up an album with a picture of Jake. Yes, goldens are the ultimate companions. My daughters call him The Prince. Yup, that's my boy.

  3. Jen, how fun! I love the twine for your cookie packages idea. Also love the personalized labels. I may just have to look into ordering these myself (oh, and I agree, what would we do without the world at our fingertips!)
