The Temptations

I don't know why I do this to myself. They come in the mail. I fold down page corners. I plan. I dream. I wish. I toss. All that coveting can really get to a girl, a girl on a budget. I find it better to just dump most of them in the recycling bin. I save a few pages for thrifting & diy inspiration, projects that can be done much cheaper using imagination. A few very special items are actually purchased, the majority remain a dream. Here's what I'm dreaming about.

  2. Wow, you've got great taste. I'll take one of everything. That bookcase though, actually looks like something out of the chicken coop.

  5. Jonesing for that chicken-coop bookcase. My coffee table, once upon a time, really was the door to a henhouse. When I repainted it, there were notations on the back about how many dozen eggs on what day. Murphy's Oil Soap took care of the *other* evidence ;)

  8. I was lucky to work at a place and get the pillows from Cat Studio at cost. I bought the one that is of Ireland. I have a shirt (when they were known as Swan Magic) that is of the Nutcracker Suite, one of Italy and one of Skiing.

  17. Hey, Joanna from UncommonGoods here. I was so excited to see the posting for the state pillow and the feedback on the price. While we try to keep our unique items affordable, we also love giving our customers the option of having handmade items (like these!) which are often more expensive. They are worth every cent once you see what a statement they make!

At least you have the sense to toss...I end up hanging onto them in the hopes of tearing out pages!!

Stop by, if you have a chance...I'm hosting a "perfectly imperfect" week, and I'd love you to participate!!

    Have a great week Jen!
