Handmade Heaven & Playing Catch Up

It's so strange that I haven't been blogging much lately. I have an incredible amount to share with you but finding the time to actually blog seems to be elusive for me lately. I did want to share these wonderful handmade things that I recently received.

These were from the box swap I was a part of and were given to me by (from left to right) Hope Ellington, Lonnie Jenck, Laurie Cass-Griggs and Tammy Akervold. Each one was so special and filled with amazing treasures.

This is the book I received for playing in Karla's Cottage puppy love tag swap. Such a sweet Valentine to receive in the mail. Swaps are such a great way to get you fired up and creating.

Speaking of Valentines, this is the surprise that came in the mail from my sweet friend Cammy. Isn't she amazingly talented and giving? I actually squealed with delight as I opened it. Thanks friend!

So, the catching up part. Well, the laundry room is almost finished, just a bit of touch up to do before I can share with you. The boots came and I returned them. I thought they'd be a little taller and I decided to just wait for something that was. I've painted the girls' bathroom and the rest of that redo should follow in a couple of weeks. I have lots of fun stuff to share just around the corner, including lots of changes, around the house & in our lives. No babies (don't panic Mom!) but lots of things that are making us smile. Hope you're smiling too, friends!

  8. The little boxes are just beautiful, what a wonderful swap to be part of. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm torn between the real life renovations and the dollhouse ones. The only reason the dollhouse gets done is because I can do it on my own! I'm so glad to have found your blog, it's like reading a pretty magazine, you have so many lovely ideas!
