Love is in the Air

Love is in the air. Mixed with a lot of snow. I've been a pretty good sport but I'm pretty close to done now thankyouverymuch. Lucky for me I got these sweet treats in the mail from my friend Melissa and they cheered me right up. I meant to get a picture of the inside of the coin purse...even that is gorgeous. For the very reasonable sum of $8, 2 of you lucky readers can also own one. You better race to her etsy shop though!

Look at that attention to detail. Melissa puts so much work into everything she makes. She amazes me. That's why I've commissioned her to make a surprise for a certain little girl of mine for her 9th birthday.

Layers of paper bliss in this flower.

My pictures don't do this scrappy heart justice. This one now resides on Emma's Valentine tree.

Love this garland ornament and the mercury beads. It seems Melissa and I are both addicted to them.

Love this sweet felt heart too. This one was also stolen from me. Ripped right out of my hands. I never stood a chance.

What a wonderful friend she is to make these ornaments for me. I will cherish them always.

If you haven't signed up yet, there is still time to get in my giveaway for the Flea Market Style magazine!

  7. I love that Emma has a Valentine's tree. (Have I already said that before?) Well, it's true.

Also, I just watched a "dumb" movie with Cory that actually ended up being pretty funny - Extract.
