All Dressed Up

This past weekend Maddie went to her first prom. These events can be so nerve wracking. Especially for those of us with girls. Luckily for us she went with her best friend Austin.

If I had a son, I'd want him to be just like Austin. We're still holding out hope that these two will come to their senses.

And just in case you feel the urge to tell me how glamorous my girl is, I thought I'd throw this one in here. When will she learn to not make these faces at me when I have a camera in my hand? She knows it's going right to the blog. Every.stinkin.time.

  7. She is drop dead, J. Holy Cow. And it's true - I'm looking at these serene pics of her and I'm pretty sure you're exaggerating her "sass"... Not to mention that I have had the honor of meeting her in person and she was charming and cute and funny. Yep, I'm pretty sure you are zaggeratin'. ;)

  26. Good golly, Jen. What a gorgeous girl. She sparkles! Isn't prom fun? Even more so from a girl perspective I'm sure. I think it's easy to see that both your girls take after their adorable mama.

  27. They are adorable! Even if they don't end up going out, a girl can always use a fun guy friend to talk to. I've had a guy friend since 8th grade and now our kids play together and his wife and I are good friends.

I hope they had a great time at prom!
