Friendship at the Farm

Emma and I had the most wonderful day with Shannan and her family yesterday at her Flower Patch. I mean, I knew we would. This wasn't our first dance.  There's just something about this girl. She's like a thick robe right after a bath. A cold compress on your forehead when you have a fever. Also, she has the sweetest family ever. Her kids are even more adorable, spirited and smart than they appear to be on her blog. Her hubby, so cute and personable and obviously talented with a camera if he could capture a decent picture of me. Corey, FYI, I despise my profile. DESPISE. But. I love soft focus. LOVE! Shannan's Momma was there too. What a true treasure that woman is. I wanted to put her in my pocket and bring her home with me.

Every time I'm with Shannan time just passes at lightning speed and I'm always sad to leave. Having that 3 hour drive ahead of me doesn't help much. Thanks for having us Shanny! Thanks for the blueberry picking, dented can shopping, wonderful lunch (exceptin' the peppers), fresh picked veggies from your garden, girl talk and most of all for your friendship. Love you'uns.

  2. Don't you just love her to pieces? I can't wait til we are all together. I hope Shanny Bo didn't fill your head with nonsense about me - I'm quite calm. And very focused. Don't let her tell you otherwise. Isn't Nancy the sweetest!? I thought of you all yesterday, out there, having a good time, without me and Benny. It's not fittin'.

  7. That first pic of us is good, right? Well, at least he got one. I'm sure you're loving the fact that I shared the rest, for all the world to see! I'm all about embracing it, baby. It makes me me and you you! And I happen to adore you and your profile and your quasi-picky taste and the whole kit and kaboodle.
