Travel Journals


Summer is officially in full swing. For some reason I never seem to find time to potter around the studio during the break. This year I decided to do a weekly craft project with the girls so I would have no excuses. Our first project was making travel journals.

 We started with a tray of pretty bits and these journals.

  Then we did a little of this and this.


And this is what we came up with. From left to right: Maddie's, Mine and Emma's. I love how each one is an expression of the person that made it. That is one of my favorite things about creating with other people. I can't wait for our next project!

    so pretty. i guess i packed up all my crafting when i got the photography bug. i have so many supplies upstairs...all alone...

  16. How fun! I love doing crafts with my daughters as well.
    I especially loved the 9 3/4. I can only assume it is in reference to our beloved Harry and the platform??? Just a hunch. :)
