School Supplies

I keep checking the 10 day forecast hoping it will change. My heart craves Autumn. School supplies.
We have 3 weeks until school starts and the back-to-school shopping has commenced. Back-to-school is some of my favorite shopping. But honestly, I'm a little envious. I want new supplies too. I never outgrew the thrill that comes with a sheaf of fresh paper so I've made a list of must haves for this girl.

Bouquets of sharpened pencils from here:

My version of a book bag from Boden:

New shoes like these from Target:

Extracurricular reading from Amazon:

In case you aren't up for sharpening your own pencils from here:

To get me up on time from LLBean:

A Cath Kidston agenda from Amazon:

And in case you think I'm kidding, I will tell share with you that I have already ordered at least 3 of these items.

  9. School shopping here is not the same as when I was growing up. Can't find the supplies I know and love, and if we do, they are way too expensive. I go back to school in 3 weeks but the kids don't start until September 5th. Love those open toed espadrilles :) Have a great day! Tammy

Also? July is almost over. And we haven't had our annual July visitors. But, that realization made me remember that it's officially our 2 year anniversary! You've been good to me, JJ. :)

  19. So, I love your list. And I adore the idea of new school supplies - for Mom! "Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils..."

That said, those Target shoes have the worst reviews ever. But, that is not stopping me - I'm going to order a pair today, take them to a cobbler (don't you just love that word?) and have them reinforce the crummy burlap sole with something more substantial. Wheeee!
