Thanksgiving was such a big gathering with my dad's side of the family in Mississippi when I was growing up. When my boys were little, we had many friends here to celebrate the holidays with but over the past 5 years that has changed. Now it is just us so I don't do the big meals anymore (plus I don't eat meat now so no turkey for me). I am going to make pumpkin pie though.
