Slow and Steady Wins the Race

Or at least that's what I'm trying to tell myself. My house is in total disarray and will be for at least another week, all because of a little 'ol laundry room project. I like order. I do not like caulk and nail guns and wood and shoes and bags strewn all over my house. Nope. But I know I'm going to like having a pretty laundry room so I'm trying to just deal with it. I thought I'd share some before and during pics with you. I've been splotching paint in here for years. I wish that were an exaggeration. It's not. Embarrassing, right? Now you can see why I have a fit every time Sweet Hubby brings someone through this room.

I think I really love this picture I found at HomeGoods yesterday. It's either really cool or really hideous. I'm still trying to decide. That paint splotch right next to the possibly hideous picture appears to be our winner. What a relief to finally maybe, possibly have that decision made.

  2. Its hard to live through those projects but well worth it! As soon as I get all the tag books in the mail today, I am starting to rip my laundry room apart for a mini redo. I dread it, but love the thought of a new washer and dryer! Good luck with your redo.

The picture looks nice...what I can see of it. I did a post on a place in Paris today...that is what the pic is right?

I have all the stuff in the garage to do our laundry room...I think yours will win, though!
