Or at least that's what I'm trying to tell myself. My house is in total disarray and will be for at least another week, all because of a little 'ol laundry room project. I like order. I do not like caulk and nail guns and wood and shoes and bags strewn all over my house. Nope. But I know I'm going to like having a pretty laundry room so I'm trying to just deal with it. I thought I'd share some before and during pics with you. I've been splotching paint in here for years. I wish that were an exaggeration. It's not. Embarrassing, right? Now you can see why I have a fit every time Sweet Hubby brings someone through this room.
I think I really love this picture I found at HomeGoods yesterday. It's either really cool or really hideous. I'm still trying to decide. That paint splotch right next to the possibly hideous picture appears to be our winner. What a relief to finally maybe, possibly have that decision made.
Love the paint color and the bead board...can't wait to see the finished product I'm sure it will be fabulous!
ReplyDeleteIts hard to live through those projects but well worth it! As soon as I get all the tag books in the mail today, I am starting to rip my laundry room apart for a mini redo. I dread it, but love the thought of a new washer and dryer! Good luck with your redo.
ReplyDeleteLove the beadboard and your paint color is beautiful. Can't wait to see the final results. The new picture is great.
ReplyDeleteI only can dream of having a real laundry room , it looks great so far.
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of the Picture but I love everything else. My two cents.
Love your colors too! Very clean and cool. Perfect for a laundry!
ReplyDeleteThe picture looks nice...what I can see of it. I did a post on a place in Paris today...that is what the pic is right?
I have all the stuff in the garage to do our laundry room...I think yours will win, though!
I adore the paint color that you are using. I have the exact same picture from Home Goods and just love it!
ReplyDeleteI live in a home that is a constant work-in-progress. I feel your pain! The little paint blob appears to be lovely and I like the Parisian picture...how can you go wrong with a Paris photo?
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the dust and paint.

ReplyDeleteMy whole upstairs is all messed up from a simple bathroom redo...I feel your pain. Why does the chaos just spread and spread???
ReplyDeleteOh the laundry room will be beautiful when you finish! I think making up my mind is the hardest part of a project as well.
ReplyDeleteI see Jim has been a busy boy!
