Lots of doing going on around here. Car repairs, heater repairs but also lots of fun stuff like brainstorming for a little party I'm having for some crafty friends on December 1st. I love party planning. I believe I could happily do it for a living.
I also managed to work in a quick project with a friend and added heart elbow patches to one of my sweaters. I think there will be more elbow patches in my future.
Of course I've been working on the kitchen. We are making good progress. I still think Thanksgiving is a reasonable finish date. In an effort to truly appreciate how far we've come I pulled this before picture out of the archives. This is from when the house was on the market.
Oh my. I'm not sure how we managed to see any potential there but thank goodness we did. This project has not been for the faint of heart. It looks so simple when you look at the before and after but it has been anything but! When it's over, I'll be so glad we went for it though.
And just because I don't want that to be the last picture you see before you leave here's another current one. Lots of priming to do this week and maybe get those cabinets skirted but first I'm off to work on party invitations. I think November is going to be a creativity filled month for me. I'm so excited!
I am so inspired by your posts and pictures. Thank you for sharing!

ReplyDeleteThe kitchen is looking really great. Love the patched elbows. I'm looking for ideas to brighten up and re-vamp a number of totally plain cardigans I have and I think that could be a great idea. They don't actually need patching but it looks so cute. Fiona x
