After searching and searching I finally found the bag.
That was followed by another obsessive search for an appropriate picnic blanket which has now been located.
Then began the hunt for this aqua vintage style thermos. They have been discontinued and I'm told the remaining stock was sold to HomeGoods. Being the sort of person you know me to be, I'm sure you have guessed that I have been to every HomeGoods in my area. And just in case, every TJ Maxx. And every Marshalls. And nothing. So I'm putting out an A.P.B. to all of you my dear friends. If you can get your hands on this totally Jen style thermos, I will make it worth your while.UPDATE: THE THERMOS WAS LOCATED, BOUGHT AND SHIPPED. I RECEIVED IT YESTERDAY! YIPPEE!!!!!!!!
I'll keep my eyes open! I usually go to Home Goods on Wed. evenings while my son is at his music lessons.

ReplyDeleteCute - the most recent Country Living showed several thermos bottles in all different designs...you might check those resources if your search isn't fruitful. Love.

oh, my goodnesss!!! I own a shop and we sold them a few months ago!!! a white one sits on my countertop right now!!! i didn't know they'd been discontinued. some woman came and bought all of ours for gifts! sigh...they are cute! wish i had kept one for you!
ReplyDeleteoh...what company was it that told you the thermoses were discontinued???? maybe it's just that particular company that stopped buying them--they could still be manufactured, but that company is not restocking them...just a thought.

Well Jen I so wanted to be the one that found your thurmous but I didn't :-( I Went to our only Home Goods and 3 TJMAXX and struck completely out. But I had lots of fun and found a wonderful pair of foo dogs I had been desiring and I put out good carma incase I ever need something searched for so thanks for inspiring a great day. I sure hope someone finds it for you.
