This morning I'm dreaming about the Village. Does that surprise any of you? I'm thinking about how cute Emma and I would look zipping around town on these. She is totally on board.
Then I've been thinking how cool Maddie and I would look riding around on this. Maddie is not in total agreement with me. She could think of several things she'd rather do than ride this bicycle with me. I know, right? I'm sure she'll come to her senses. I'm putting it on her Birthday list.
Sweet Hubby is on his way back a day early from a trip to Germany so I'm super excited. I'll be spending the weekend trying to get some things wrapped up on my to do list and visiting the Village. Not very romantic maybe, but just what I want. I hope your weekend is full of L-O-V-E!
Love, love, love the scooters! And the color ... fabulous :)
ReplyDeleteI am having so much fun working on ideas for Emma's bag!
Have a great weekend,
melissa
How cute the bikes would be with a basket in front. Have a fun weekend~

I can just see you tootling around the village this summer with your girls...or maybe just girl. Have you ever been on a bicycle built for two? It's an interesting experience - a bit of a learning curve, but very fun.
ReplyDeleteThat would be idyllic to run around the village in a scooter!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Maddie, those things scare me. Maybe a sidecar.lol
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend too, Lynea
Welcome home hubby! And maybe your girls could ride the scooters while you and your husband pedal that cool bicycle built for 2!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend wandering about the village!
Kat :)
Jen, you must get a scooter! I have one that looks almost identical to that, it's just a different shade of blue. I LOVE it. There is such a feeling of freedom tooling about town on that 100mpg thing. I just can't wait to you get to the village!
ReplyDeleteboth of those are fun little modes of transportation. growing up, my friend had a tandem bike and we loved it.
ReplyDeleteI want a scooter! How cute is that? I grew up having a bicycle built for two and we put a third seat on it for me as a kid so I could ride with my parents.
ReplyDeleteBoth of those look like loads of fun! Hope you have a great Valentine's Day weekend!

I have ALWAYS wanted a moped! But out here, I would only be able to ride it to the mailbox. (And I really need to walk that, not ride!). Something about them is so... European and glamorous, like Audrey Hepburn or something.
ReplyDeleteI think you will look cute too!!!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the thought of you strapping Maddie to that beastly bike... :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your dream of the village fulfilled! I think the scooter is darling and the bike to. :) Happy Valentines Day to you!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite color and I'm always a sucker for bicycles built for two! I don't know how you know, but you always pick all my favorite things!
ReplyDeleteI am OBSESSED with vespas and mopeds! I want one TERRIBLY! And I love tandem bikes their so much fun!
ReplyDeleteLove that scooter! I think I need one of those!
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness! I LOVE those scooters! You gals would look so cute buzzing around the village on those. :)
ReplyDeleteI see you are reading the Swedish Country Interiors book. I own the first book, Swedish Interiors, and wanted to know how you like the new one.
