Saturday afternoon we had lunch in the Village. We've never eaten here before but you can bet we'll be back.
This is an art gallery and restaurant and the atmosphere is unlike any other place I've been.
It was a bit of a splurge for us right now since we are saving every penny we can.
But you can see that it was worth it.
The food was incredible. We all got something different and it was all delicious. I can't wait to go back...without the kids.
Afterward we headed across the street to the coffee shop for what appeared to be the perfect cuppa. I wouldn't know as I don't like coffee. This makes me want to try really hard though.
I don't even know where the village is but I want to live there. Now. Care to share your realtor? ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty! I love eating at little hidden places.
ReplyDeleteMy tummy is now rumbling for the sanctuary... too bad they don't deliver =)
ReplyDeleteThat restaurant looks amazing! I definitely want to check it out sometime :)
ReplyDelete3 weeks ... you can do it ... it will be so worth it!!
Have a great week,
melissa

So funny, I recognized the place in your pictures right away! We've stopped in there a few times while visiting my in-laws but we've never had lunch there. Next time I'll have to go there for a bite to eat.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the final preparations before your house goes on the market. March is the perfect time to put it up for sale with Spring starting to peak out everywhere, it just makes any house look more lovely!
Kat :)
Where is this place?? Is it in Fishers??? Looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting place to eat in. Don't worry, I don't like coffee either but it does look yummy!
ReplyDeleteMy mother in law used to work at the Sanctuary, and I loved going to visit her there- I haven't eaten at the cafe recently, but the aura of the whole gallery is so peaceful- it makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteWow Jen - you are making me want to move to the village :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds and looks like a perfect day. Someday you will have to take me there when I come to visit IN again!
ReplyDeletebest wishes on getting everything "ready"!
ReplyDeleteI'll need to look up this yummy place when I'm in Indy next time! It looks lovely!

What a pretty restaurant. I am so excited for you guys...it is really happening!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that you call all who comment creative and brillant. That is exactly what I tell my husband to call me. lol. What an incredible place to dine.It seems like you'd really be dining there, as opposed to merely eating. So cool.
ReplyDeleteThat restaurant looks wonderful. I would love to find somewhere like that to enjoy a nice leisurely lunch.

You don't like....coffee? I mean, like, you took that picture, and you just couldn't take a sip? Jen, I really hate to be the one to break it to you....but livin' in the Village, and not liking coffee? Why, why....it's just un-American. I'm gonna help you move in, ok? Me and Shannan, we'll come, and help....just take us to this restaurant, and get me that cuppa coffee!
ReplyDeleteI want to go with you....to eat and to live in the village. It all looks so wonderful! Hope you find your house soon.
ReplyDeleteWishing I lived closer to the village... wherever that may be!
ReplyDeleteYou are one *mad* (not "that" kinda mad) worker bee mama! I'm so impressed. It almost makes me feel like I could muster the gumption to mop my floor or something.
ReplyDeleteI could mop whilst dreaming of lunch with you in the Ville.
(Yep - that "whilst" was just for you. You don't like???)
It all looks just picture perfect. Food, village atmosphere, a steaming cuppa. Is there a cupcake bakery in your new town?
ReplyDeletewhat an adorable place. so much eye candy. i want to live in the village too!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a wonderful place!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I want that coffee and all their furniture too.lol
ReplyDeleteHave a fun day, Lynea
Is this Nancy Noel's gallery? I collect her paintings. The sanctuary is beautiful. Unfortunately, I am too far away. Thank you for sharing.
