Travel Journals

Summer is officially in full swing. For some reason I never seem to find time to potter around the studio during the break. This year I decided to do a weekly craft project with the girls so I would have no excuses. Our first project was making travel journals.

We started with a tray of pretty bits and these journals.

Then we did a little of this and this.

And this is what we came up with. From left to right: Maddie's, Mine and Emma's. I love how each one is an expression of the person that made it. That is one of my favorite things about creating with other people. I can't wait for our next project!

I especially loved the 9 3/4. I can only assume it is in reference to our beloved Harry and the platform??? Just a hunch. :)
