12 Days of Christmas

I love traditions. I'm always trying to come up with new ones to incorporate into the ones we already have. This year I've decided to celebrate the 12 days of Christmas for my girls, to help ease the pain of waiting until Christmas day to open presents. They are both very excited about it & eagerly waiting to open gift #1. These are all very inexpensive gifts and I probably didn't spend any more than $25 for all 24 presents. I believe that it is more about the thought & the process than the actual gift. I hope that this tradition will be so enjoyed that the girls will look forward to it for many years to come & that it will join the ranks of other family customs such as the Jammy Fairy who leaves new pajamas under everyone's pillows on Christmas Eve. These rituals really make holidays our own and add an extra measure of joy for everyone.

  3. Hi Jen thank you for stopping by my first blog. The lady I buy Greengate from has an online shop and will try and get anything that I have seen on the Greengate website. It is a popular brand at the moment so things go fast. I am sure she would love to send abroad (shipping price may be the only stumbling block though).

I love your blog site, 12 days of christmas idea sounds great.Keep in touch. Merry Christmas. Ginny

  6. I used to get PJ's that my Mom made every Christmas Eve and I continued the tradition with my two kids. They are grown now but I have my first grandchild on the way so next Christmas I'll start doing it again. Traditions are wonderful!
