Good to be Home

What a week it has been! I'll be catching up for awhile but I wanted to let you all know that we made it home safe and sound. Our trip was wonderful. Barcelona is quite a city and we enjoyed it a lot. I'm having a hard time putting into words just how much this trip meant to us. We both agreed that we enjoyed it more after almost 7 years of marriage than we would have when we first got married. I'm a big fan of "Vacation Jen" and hope that I can keep a little part of her with me everyday.

These are just a few pictures to tide you over until I have more time and I want you to know that there will be a European souvenir giveaway in your near future! Details soon, I promise.

  1. Hey Jen,

I've had you on my list of blogs and didn't realize it was you...small world. Yes. We are trying to sell b/c I started back working and it's too much driving now since I work in the city. It doesn't help that the people out here are wierd and unfriendly..ha! We haven't had any offers yet so we may be staying awhile anyway. June will be 3 years for us in this house. It has gone by fast!! Love your blog btw!

  23. Very interesting article. Its really pleasure return home after long and interesting trip. You remind me my trip to this beautiful city. I went to Barcelona with a friend for 3 nights and 4 days at the end of May 2006. This was a nice time of year to visit as the weather was hot and sunny, but not overbearing.
We were lucky cause among plenty of wonderful hotels in Barcelona we chose one that was in the Raval area, about 10 minutes walk from the Ramblas.
I fell in love with Barcelona and it's beautiful architecture, there is so much to see and could have stayed for longer, however, you can get to see a lot in a day as it is not that big and is easy to get around

  24. Barcelona is a city by the Mediterranean Sea were I've been living most of my life.
I like to live here. I like Mediterranean way of life: culture, climate, people, and food...
Even if since 2002 I live outside Spain, I like to go back to Barcelona at least once a month.
I keep my flat here, because i need to breath Mediterranean air from time to time :)
