Puppy Love

Most of the things I collect are things that are useful & somehow that helps me to justify their purchase. Until recently. I think I've accidentally started a new collection. I have long been drawn to dog figurines but I just recently broke down & bought these. Both in the same day. It seems that once I broke the seal on this new love, there was no stopping me. It's a good thing I'm behaving myself & stearing clear of the antique stores or I'm sure my pups would start multiplying.

  1. Loving the pups. I have had to resist similar urges for new collections. I tagged you over at my blog for a thinking award. Thanks for always inspiring!

  6. Very cute! I love the larger one. Such a pretty muted color. I saw in a magazine awhile back a collection of stuffed dogs, they all had an eye or something missing. The collector commented on how she felt like she was giving them a second chance at a happy home. Inspired me to want to start a collection of my own. Your off to a good start. Rescue as many as you can! :)

  7. I have a (small!) collection of little dogs too! One of them is a tiny vase...I'm going to get him out now so I remember to put little spring flowers in him. You found a couple of cute ones!

I didn't know that you had lived near me for awhile? I'm so glad that the day-trip post brought back some nice memories for you. It really is a fun place!

Jen, please email me and I will send you some other photos of the home you were interested in, and share some more information with you about it.
