I will likely never own a beach house or any home on the water, but it doesn't keep me from dreaming of what it would be like if I did. For me the idea of a home on the water conjures up images of peace and tranquility. A home with natural textures, light colors, an airy atmosphere and a relaxed but elegant attitude. It would mean little time spent with cell phones, televsions and computers but more time spent with books, games, thoughts, lively discussions and family. For any of you lucky enough to have such a home, I envy you. For those of you lucky enough to even be able to visit such a place this holiday weekend, I envy you too.
