Anyone that knows me very well, knows that I have a soundtrack addiction. I also love greatest hits and compilations but soundtracks are my first love. I remember my first like it was yesterday, it was American Graffiti on 8 track. Next came my Grease album, followed by my Footloose cassette. An obsession was born. There is no stopping me now. Oh to own an Ipod and be able to have all of them in one place. The following is a list of my top 5 favorites. I don't think it's a coincidence that these are some of my favorite movies. What's your favorite?
1) Mona Lisa Smiles
2) You've Got Mail
3) One Fine Day
4) Sleepless in Seattle
5) Hope Floats

You are all amazing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for stopping by to read my ramblings and for taking a moment of your valuable time to leave me the sweetest comments!

Thanks for the visit and comment left on my blog. You asked where I get my signature jewelry. I've found some of it on Ebay and some were gifts from friends. Some I inherited from my grandmother. My favorite piece my teenager found at a thrift store for me. Some gorgeous Sleeping Beauty turquoise earrings valued at $100 that he found for $10!! Must have trained that boy right! :) :) Good luck with your journey into finding your own personal style. Be careful...you may find yourself with a new addiction on your hands. LOL!

ReplyDeleteJen, I see you live in Indiana. We're moving there from NJ. In fact, we're flying out this Saturday to look at houses. Do you like it there? I've never been so I'm a little nervous but I only hear good things about it. My husband will be transferred to Lawrence, outside of Indy.
Love your blog. Take care.

ReplyDeleteHi Jen,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog while visiting Amy's at InspireCo. and have been enjoying it all morning. I'm another soundtrack nut, especially Rogers and Hammerstein musicals and Gone With the Wind of course. Have you seen "The Devil Wears Prada" with Meryl Streep? The opening song is called Suddenly I See by K.T. Tunstall and it's my current favorite song - the whole soundtrack is great as was the movie. BTW, nice to make your aquaintence ~
Thanks for the soundtrack suggestions. I love those movies too and I think I will check out a couple that I haven't heard before. Also, I know what you mean about the blog love. It's so good!!
