I'm not sure how much dog art is too much dog art. I do know that these pictures make me want to find out.
I hope you are enjoying your dog days of summer. Next week is my girls last week of summer vacation and we are trying to enjoy every moment of it. We have a lot going on with registration, ice cream socials, play dates, shopping, dental appointments and trips to the museum. I'm really trying to focus on them and there isn't a lot of time for the computer so please understand if my posts slow down until school starts. There will be plenty of time for projects and hobbies when they are gone and I am just trying to squeeze every last ounce of joy out of this time with them. Thank you all for your super sweet birthday wishes for Miss Maddie. She and I really cherish them.
Did you catch "Color Splash" this past week? David painted the most amazing 3'x5' picture of the owner's dog to go over the mantle in their dining room. It had a gorgeous turquoise background. Loved it!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that print from Ballard's, I even have the page "dog-eared" It reminds me of my dog!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the first one the most but all are too cute!
ReplyDeleteLove that Boston print! My BFF has two Bostons. Those little dogs are such characters!

Jenn...Love that first pic SO MUCH! Just did a post on it also...mentioned you!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!

ReplyDeleteI think I need to find some just like that for my laundry room.

What a great blog and a great post. Such inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI love the last one. The black and white. I want him to snuggle with. Enjoy your sweeties. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen that picture...it is awesome! Never enough dog stuff, Jenn...never enough. I can totally see something like that in your house...I think it keeps things from getting too serious. I used to have a neighbor, who painted her den red. Floor to ceiling it was nothing but dog paintings...it was brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI was just complaining about the dog days of summer on GI...funny.
As always, I love, love, love your Cottage Nest. :)
Thanks for visiting my blog! These dog prints are so fun and different. My favorite is the last picture. It makes you want to hold that dog and snuggle! Maybe I should somehow incorporate some dog pictures in my decorating. We have three westies and lots of pictures of them. I enjoyed your post and I will be back to visit!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Enjoy the French Toast tonight. Sounds yummy!!!
ReplyDeleteFunny, this first house pictured is my neighbor's house! Don't you love it?! The designer is so talented and incredibly sweet.

I love your blog! The dog prints are adorable. It would be worth designing rooms around each of them.
ReplyDeleteThe cake you made for your daughter's birthday is incredible. My oldest will be 17 this fall, and I understand completely about wondering where the time has gone. It seems like just yesterday he was my little buddy and went everywhere with me. Now he spends many days pretending he doesn't have a mother!
I look forward to visiting your blog again.
Great dog art finds. Love the laundry room look. I've had "William Tell's Dog" by Kessler for about 5 years. It STILL cracks me up. Here's a link: http://www.kesslerart.com/
