Right now it is a crisp 58° here in the Indianapolis area and so I am finally in the mood for fall. I want to share with you a sneak peak of this new magazine from my fave magazine contributor of all time...Matthew Mead. Now you may recall my previous posts about this very talented guy here and here. I'm desperate to see him get his own monthly because I just don't have enough magazine subscriptions! You can go to his website Matthew Mead Style and see that he has enough ideas to fill a magazine.
If you love Matthew the way I love Matthew (not in a scary way that would concern his wife) then go visit Linda at Restyled Home and see how you can help spread the word. Otherwise just go out and buy that magazine. It's currently available all over the US and Canada. You will be so happy you did. It is hands down the best holiday themed issue on the stands right now.
This will make him happy! I laughed at your comment about scaring his wife. Hopefully she doesn't think we're stalkers!!
ReplyDeleteNope, we're happily married gals who just wish our own husbands shared our passion for style and decorating as much as we do!!
And yeah, I'm pretty sure your gushing comment puts you in the running for one of those top prizes...!!
Now I'm off to check out your snow man marshmallows. That same year, I did a snow man themed party for her birthday, so I could try all the ideas in his Holiday issue. She was a little miffed at first...she was thinking princesses again...but I won her over!!
Omgosh! I love the countdown calendar. Its got my crafty blood flowing!
ReplyDeleteI will be looking for this magazine. Love Halloween!
ReplyDeleteGood luck Jen, I hope you win, I think you should win!
oh happy day!
ReplyDeleteps--added you to my blogroll

I have been making a countdown calendar for weeks now... it's not easy to come up with 31 cute number magnets! ... it MIGHT be done by October 1st! Great magazine... I need to get that!
ReplyDeleteI was looking earlier today for a great Halloween inspired magazine. I didn't see this one, but will keep looking!
ReplyDeleteVery CUTE
ReplyDeleteAh Jen....I'm soooooo jealous of your 58 degrees! Enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the Matthew Mead magazine. Will have to run to Borders forthwith!
Wow it is getting a little chillier there. I can feel the weather getting a little colder too. I love that white chocolate owl. Wendy
ReplyDeleteThat man is a creative genius!! I just bought the magazine today.
ReplyDeleteI'll have a look around for this magazine. I like it's looks already!
ReplyDeleteOk...STOP rubbing my nose in the fall temps! I sooo love a real crisp fall...we need to be so patient through our wet and wild summer/falls here.
ReplyDeleteOk..that man is a whirling dervish of pure creativity! I'll keep my eye out too...and congrats to Linda for being an inspiration to him!
I had never heard of him before this blog post. I think that candy corn pincushion will be making an appearance soon. I'll look for his magazine at the bookstore later today.
ReplyDeleteI will check it out, Jenn!

ReplyDeleteI love Matthew Mead, too, and in fact just worked as the senior production editor on his sumptous new book, Entertaining Simple.
I HIGHLY recommend it! Gorgeous photography, wonderful recipes and tips for entertaining. (note: I get nothing for promoting this book; I just truly love it.)
