Long Live the Queen

I am the queen, well at least the queen of this house. Although sometimes I wonder if I'd rather be the princess. That title comes with none of the responsibility of being queen but with all of the benefits. I guess my penchant for considering myself so highly would explain why I have taken to collecting jewelery that has a crown like feel to it. I would wear a crown or a tiara everyday if given the chance. I recently told Sweet Hubby that I should have a different apron and tiara for each day of the week. I got the look. Wouldn't you think he'd be used to such proclamations from me by now? I bet all of you can imagine me feathering my nest in just such an outfit. See? That's why we're friends. You appreciate the real me.

  19. OOOOH....I love this post. The crowns & tiaras are gorgeous...just like you. We were looking at your blog today at Lola Rue. Stephanie Oyler, Lisa, and me and when we saw all the bling we all squealed with delight. SOME people get us...but not many! Maybe try saran wrap, AND an apron, AND a crown....maybe then he will begin to understand!!! (oh are we allowed to talk like this in blogland?) Happy LOVE Day!
