Meet my new buddy, Lola. Pearly, shiny and sparkly-she's even better than getting new jewelery! As a girl who previously thought of cars as nothing but a way to get from point A to point B, I'm in love. She has everything I didn't know I needed. Just the right amount of cup holders, twelve!
A luxury box for the girl's enjoyment, lots of storage, good gas mileage, plenty of leg and cargo room and enough entertainment options to keep all of us happy. Who knew that a built in DVD player would create such drama? Who knew I would want to just sit in the garage and listen to XM radio?
If I had to, I think I could live in this car and since we are in the unplanned process of putting Maddie in private school, I just might have to. Please keep her in your thoughts today as she shadows at her new school. We are so hopeful that it will be a good fit for her.
Congrats on your new Saturn Outlook. As a central PA Saturn employee and dedicated Cottage Nest blog reader, I really appreciate your business!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and Maddie today...the decision about a good school that "fits" is a big one. Congrats on the car too!
ReplyDeletePrivate school for Maddie? I feel out of the loop. But maybe it's just the drugs....
ReplyDeletePrayers to Maddie and I'm loving your Lola!
Yeah, lucky you!! We're driving around a 1999 Ford Windstar with electrical problems, no air conditioning, and a broken taillight. So uncool, but it does get us "from point A to point B", and it's paid off. So no new cars for us for awhile. I LOVE your new Saturn! Hope you get many good years out of her! Enjoy. :)
ReplyDeleteThat SUV is masking a mini-van interior! AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteWe decided to put our 3 wee ones in private school as well! It's been quite a change, but we are all loving the new school!
Best of Luck!

ReplyDeleteI hope that everything is OK with Maddie. Keep us updated.
I know exactly how you feel about your car because I feel the same way about my Edge!! I never knew you could actually have a love affair with a car! Hope Maddie likes her new school and it all goes well!! Good luck to her!

ReplyDeletePearl.....the perfect color for your new car. Will you be trimming it out with ribbon and glitter?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new purchase. YOu waited patiently for this new prize.
Do I need to worry about Maddie? If it helps her to be happy, I will.

Cool wheels! Will be thinking of your Maddie and sending good thoughts your way for her! One year, we switched one of our sons to a private school -- best decision we ever made! Take care.

Congrats Jen I felt the same way about my new baby in Feb- I'd never been in love with a vehicle before and I named mine Ruby - Ruby Ronda she is a Kia Rondo well we took it to Las Vegas to visit my family and my SIL on the second day there crashed into her and ruined her bummper- talk about an exercise in forgiveness and restraint.
