There are big things going on right now at the Holiday with Matthew Mead blog. Head on over to get more information about getting your home featured in the new magazine.

Submit photos of your home and you could win a three spread lay-out of your home decorated for the HOLIDAYS... to be styled and photographed by Matthew Mead and run in the HOLIDAY 2010 issue of Holiday with Matthew Mead.
WE WILL WORK AT YOUR HOME FOR 2-3 DAYS... PROPPING AND PHOTOGRAPHING ALL ASPECTS OF LIFESTYLE INCLUDING FOOD, PEOPLE, DECORATIONS, ETC.
Head on over to www.holidaywithmatthewmead.com  for all of the contest rules and details.

In other news we closed on our house Monday and I'm relieved to have that emotional part of the journey over. I'm also relieved to not have to be going  back and forth any more. I'm still working on unpacking boxes and hope to have a paint brush in my hand very soon. Hopefully I won't be missing too much longer. I have a lot to catch you up on.

  6. Hey Girl! Just wanted to pop in and say howdy! Isn't it something how every member of our 'Guild' has had so much going on? Benny and her photo workshops, Shanny with her wedding, you with the move, and me with the Garden Walk. I have 20 more days of madness......looking forward to the days of reading blogs, blogging and languishing about.

  9. Thanks so much for your honest feelings. It reminds me of the time we moved from a large city apartment with breathtaking floors, windows galore, pocket doors with beveled glass ~ to our home that was basically a square box with UGLY wood paneling in EVERY room!!!I remember that heart sinking feeling and I didn't realize how much I loved the ooohs and aahhs from visitors who came by our apartment.25 yrs later ~ still here...after taking down every plaster/wood paneled wall, adding pine shelving on the floors(all we could afford)and adding windows everywhere etc. You'll be okay ~ I promise ;)
