Today I...
-Wished I was this guy
-Test drove slipcovered sofas at Crate and Barrel and fell in love a little. Or a lot.
-Started a painting and furniture plan for the new house
-Changed the address on all of my magazine subscriptions
-Scheduled the disconnection and reconnection of all of my utilities
-Finished packing up the studio
-Shopped for a media console to hold the big stupid TV that I gave in and bought for Sweet Hubby (and which I LOVE)
-Resisted the lure of over priced pretty chippy wood and paint
-Counted how many days are left until I start sleeping in my new house (10).
What did you do today?
best of luck with the move. i have the couch pictured from c&b (bayside), love it. i was even able to order extra slipcovers. you should get it, you won't regret it.

Oh that all sounds lovely! An exciting time for sure. Today I went to work, drank coffee while admiring the spring snow flurries outside my window and hung up Easter decorations. :)
ReplyDeletesounds so fun...i am working on my playhouse. Came in for a drink. Wished you were closer, I have a lot of chippy paint furniture in my barn...we'd cut a good deal. Check out Ethel Edith.com...my girls. There's tons more-If you feel like a road trip! Enjoy your shopping and planning!
ReplyDeleteOoh, love your style! I just ordered a sofa from Pottery Barn, my family thinks I'm nuts(for ordering furniture online), but I say go for it!
ReplyDeleteI had lunch with a friend and then tried to teach her how to crochet. We laughed more than anything. Somehow I don't think she will get further than making chains. :) Good luck with the move and settling in. Have a great rest of the week. Tammy

ReplyDeleteI remember how excited I was before moving in to my house! I could not stop thinking about what furniture, colours, etc. I would use. Oh the anticipation!
