A Little Holiday Project

Lately my mind is buzzing with ideas, some big, some small. It's like all the creativity that was missing for the past 2 years was quietly gathering steam and I am being propelled at full speed now. I hate going to sleep at night and can't wait to wake back up and play. It's like I have a new toy I can't wait to play with, only that toy is my life! It is the most surreal feeling. I'm loving life right now.

Anywho! Enough of my blathering. You came here for a holiday project you say?

All you'll need is:
2 empty glass spice jars (I love Target Archer's Farm spice jars & use them for buttons, etc.)
2 ballerina cupcake toppers
mica flakes
glue dots
craft glue
long tweezers

We put 4 mini glue dots on the base of each figure then put dabs of craft glue on the ballerina so some of the "snow" would stick to her. We used the long tweezers to get her situated in the jar and then added the mica. Emma's ballerina went for a dip in the mica pool but that was purely optional. Emma would still be playing in those flakes if I hadn't wrestled them from her.

So there it is. It was super easy and fun and there is no end to what you could stick in a jar and cover with snow.

I'll be back Wednesday or Thursday with news from the studio. There is real, actual sunshine in the forecast for tomorrow so hopefully I can get some good pictures.
