The Weekend

You have no idea how hard it was to narrow down the pictures in this post to just the 4,752 posted here. It was a weekend full of beauty, inspiration and friendship. With maybe a sprinkling of shopping. Or maybe more than a sprinkling.

Melissa's attention to detail is amazing. At first glance the table was gorgeous. At second glance it was absolutely inspired. Look what was hiding under the plates! Where does she come up with this stuff? I want to live in her dreams.

There was loveliness to be found at every turn.

The colors spoke to my very soul. I was seduced by the glitter and sparkle.

Here a vignette, there a vignette. I'm pretty sure she is going to give me this bird cage whens she tires of it...

On to the studio. Nothing could prepare me for that moment. I stood staring and slack jawed.

I prayed, Dear Lord, please let this be what Heaven looks like.

At every turn a feast for the eyes. For all of the senses really.

The work table waiting for us to dive in.

Painted reindeer call my name. I happily answer the call.

Trees wait to be glittered and called into action.

Melissa was so generous with her amazing stash of treasures. Nothing was off limits. A dream come true.

The projects finished. This weekend will not soon be forgotten and I am happy to have this keepsake to help me remember an amazing weekend with a cherished friend and her wonderful family.
