Christmas Eve

I couldn't let the big day pass without sharing what Christmas looks like around our cottage this year.

I struggled with the mantle at first but ended up loving how it came together. I wish I could keep it like this for awhile.

It felt like just the right amount of decorating this year. I'm not even a little tired of it all.

Our cocoa center. That framed reindeer you can see in the background was part of a very sweet package sent to me by a blog friend Angie.

My favorite quilt. It was made by my friend Melissa and I cherish it.

Can't seem to get enough of candles this year.

A favorite ornament.

Mistletoe hanging on the front door.

Bottlebrush, aqua, felt and tinsel vintage goodness.

Greeting you at the front door.

On the front porch.

I hope you are all surrounded by love and joy today and always. I'm off to spend some time crafting, baking, movie watching, game playing, reading, knitting and cuddling.

And since yet again, I didn't get around to sending out Christmas cards...

From our family to yours...Merry Christmas!

  5. Not a reason in the world you can't keep that mantel just as is thru Valentines Day :) Such loveliness! I was able to do some aqua and red in the new kitchen, but my bottle brush stuff stayed packed away since we just moved a week ago. Merry Christmas Jennifer!
