Sew Organized

Yesterday I was wishing for a new sewing basket but instead I decided to dump mine out and organize the supplies in pretty containers to satisfy myself with what I have for now.

Now everything is colorfully nestled inside my vintage picnic basket and instead of being overwhelmed by the mass of chaos that used to greet me, I open the lid and am greeted with happy boxes and bins. By far my favorite part is the new pin cushion I made myself a few weeks ago.

I also made some as my exchange gift at this year's Christmas Jubilee. No two are alike, which makes the making more fun for me. I'm easily bored.

I love these so much and think I might make them to sell in my Etsy shop which cross-my-heart-and-hope-to-die-stick-a-needle-in-my-eye I am opening soon. Wait. I think that might be the name for my new shop. Catchy, right?

  3. The pincushions are adorable. I need to spend some time making my craft studio pretty again. I am in the midst of some Christmas sewing and the bomb squad just may need to be called in. Catchy name but you need to consider how it will all fit on your business card...ha!

  4. I can't wait to see your Etsy shop.

I put some things on Etsy in my shopping cart and then sent the link to my husband. I know one thing arrived today, but I am not sure what he picked to order. I love Etsy and on-line shopping.
