Kim from
Daisy Cottage left a comment on my post about my studio asking if I had read this book and it reminded me that I had never shared my thoughts on this book with you. I absolutely loved it! I wanted to just crawl into this book and create things I had never considered creating before. It was so inspiring. I hadn't even realized our very creative friend,
Charlotte was in this book. I think I had initially read this book before I discovered her and her blog. What fun to peak into her studio. I love seeing where all of you do your projects. It is such a treat.
And this book. Wow. It is so inspiring. I love her style. I wanted to try just about every project in this book. I can't decide which to try first and you should check out her
website too. In my dreams would I ever have talent like this. I highly recommend it.
Happy Reading!
I think I need to buy 'Where Women Create' - I've heard so much about it!
ReplyDeleteI got that book for Christmas! I love it, except it makes me want to completely redo my scrap room.
ReplyDeleteWhich by the way I posted my photo just minutes ago. Don't get goo excited. I doubt they'll be calling me for a book. :)
2 of my favourite books! I agree, they are amazing.
ReplyDeleteOh good, I'm so glad you had that in your collection! And now we have met our dear Charlotte too! Now I must run and get the one you just shared ~ you DO know how many books have come to my home because of YOU, right??? ;-)

I've got "Where Women Create" as a christmas present for my sis who is a collage artist and she loves it, of course I have read it before and I love it too, it's very inspiring! I can imagine Anna Corba's book being beautiful too, I like her artwork very much!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the book review Jen! Now I want to run out and get them, lol. I bought Romantic Sewing and French General from reading about them on your blog and love them as well. :)

thanks for the very nice mention...some amazing studios in there, big rooms for all sorts of things. mine is a real life craft cave- see my good boy Jake, kindly backed into a corner with total cooperation-- even the photographer loved that dog!

ReplyDeleteGosh, they both look like beautiful books. I especially want the 'Where women create' one although I have a feeling it will make me feel a little envious. But also very inspired. I think I need to pay a visit to Amazon straight away!
