Inspiration Friday- Warm Weather Rooms

Sunrooms, porches and conservatories. A place to curl up with a good book or magazine. A sunny corner with a chaise lounge where I could gaze out into my flower filled garden and drift off dreaming of projects to come. A spot to set up an easel and paint. An old wooden table set with mismatched china and glasses where my family and I could enjoy our meals. A dream for now but hopefully a reality one day.

  6. I don't have a warm weather room, but my husband and kids set up a net 'gazebo' on our deck last year. It's up again this year, and I just love it! It pretty much keeps the bugs away, and gives a nice shady place to have lunch.

  23. I have to laugh sometimes at all the things many of us are drawn to, several years ago I fell in love with that photo of the conservatory off the stone house from British Country Homes in 2004, I even played with that photo in photoshop and actually inserted myself into that room.

  26. I really, really love all of the pictures. I too feel the same way about wanting a back porch or sunroom. Another place to decorate, and then hang out when the weather is nice. That picture of the porch with that amazing settee and the little rubber boots - so very cute. I love it all.
