Smookies

Emma invented this treat all on her own a few years ago. I'm thinking she has a future ahead of her in the kitchen.

Take 1 Fudgestripe cookie and top with one large marshmallow.

Microwave just until the marshmallow begins to expand. Remove and top with another cookie.

Enjoy your sticky, gooey smookie. Repeat as necessary.

  12. We use those cookies for s'mores at the neighborhood fire! Chocolate and "cracker" in one. Great idea in the microwave, though!

  14. I'm thinking that smookies would have to be repeated quite often. Great idea that we will definitely have to try!

  19. Just met you through Kathy's Cottage. And I love this idea. I am a big roasted marshmallow smore lover and this sounds even better than the graham cracker and hershey bar mess. We'll be roasting marshmallows tomorrow night so I need to go get some of these cookies. Thanks. I'll be following you again.

  23. Oh Emma, would you come be my personal chef??? Not sure I'd ever make it past the Fudge Stripe Cookies! I can't say no to those pesky little elves! They're so stinking pushy.

We can't even keep them in the house because I have NO will power when it comes to that cookie!

And what in the world is a cookie salad (as posted by Spencer Family 6). I MUST have that recipe!!!

  27. My boys do that same thing only they heat both cookies. Even if you buy cheap dollar store cookies heat them a little and some taste homemade.
