Projectile Crafting

This is what I've been waking up to most mornings as I finish getting ready for Silver Bella. Those felt birds are slowly turning into ornaments. For some reason that project has not gone smoothly. It's possible that I may never want to look at them again by the time I'm done. Although I have to say, I will surely miss coming downstairs and finding happy messes like this on my coffee table.

  1. Funny coincidence that I am just finishing up a few needle-felted birds. And my table looks just as crammed, but in that good way. Having it all out helps to keep the creative flow going don't you think?

Put it on the list of things to talk about in EIGHT days!

  3. Please show us pictures of your felted birds when they're done. I'm sure they'll be gorgeous and well worth the aggravation!! :)

  8. Looks like a lovely little mess to me!

Well, I have to say...I just spent the past 2 days reading just about every post on your blog. I know! Get a life, right?! I'm so happy I found your blog. I love the pictures of your home and your crafty projects and some of the stuff you say is exactly how I think. I also want to live in an Eastwick-type town and ride around on a bike with a basket and buy home grown organic food (even though I never buy organic... can't afford it) :O)

    Check out my blog sometime.

  9. How long are you going to be gone at this Silver Bella? We will miss your blogs!

BTW, I'm sure that if I'd been in Eureka Springs with you, that you would have helped me get that gate. I'm just sayin.

  14. Oh goodness. I have the SAME issues. I can't seem to stay within the confines of the art nest and find bits of crafting on the kitchen island, in my bedroom and sewing room. I did some serious cleaning yesterday in a feeble attempt to stay within the confines of the ":defined" art space. I wonder how long THAT will last? Hehe...
