I know you are all busy feathering your Christmas nests. The truth is that I haven't put up the first decoration. Well except I hung some of the ornaments from my Silver Bella felt ornament swap on the wire dress form in my studio. But that's it for me. We're supposed to head out to buy a tree tonight and I'm spending the day cleaning out corners before I bring up the holiday cheer and start to rearrange.
I have much to share with you this week: treasures, journals, aprons, studio pictures and who knows what else. I hope you'll meet me back here soon.
looking forward to seeing any &all that you have to share!

Jen, I've not got one feather in my nest yet. Normally, I do have it all done by this time, but I still have pumpkins out!
ReplyDeleteI'm not feeling it yet this year, and I don't want to force it. :0/
I'll surely be back to see what you have up your sleeve this week!
Hi Jen,
ReplyDeleteI haven't started decorating either.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you will share next!

Were we supposed to clean corners before we started decorating? I missed that memo.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you have in store for us this week!
I'm doing much of the same... cleaning so I can decorate for Christmas, Can't wait to see all the feathering you've been doing.

I haven't begun decorating as yet either...I will be traveling early December to see my grandson and it will have to wait till I go back home. It will a busy month but so joyful.
Hi Jen! Trying to catch up on your blog posts! My computer was next to dead and then finally died. But it forced me to buy a new one and now it's SOOO much easier online for me. My old one was a dinosaur!!!

Well, if decorating occurs too early, it doesn't look as fresh on Christmas morning (or maybe that's my excuse for not getting started...)
ReplyDeleteyay for Christmas decorating preparation!! I'm the same way! Things need to be clean and tidy before any big changes in the house!!

Hey Jen! It's me, Ida Mae, from Silver Bella. I LOVE how you displayed the felt ornaments on your wire dress form. And that studio of yours is very neat and tidy. Come to my house and help me get mine together. HA
ReplyDeleteHi there, I'm new to blogging, so I googled a few of my favorite things "anthropologie, farm, sewing, blog" and voila, it led me here! Google must know what it's talking about, because I have that exact same dress form! lol
ReplyDeleteGonna follow, can't wait to read more, it's lovely here.
Nice to meet you, Lynea
