Studio Time Out

Spoiler alert- go away Melissa!

Even though I have been super busy around here I decided to do a Valentine ornament swap with my buddy Melissa. I mean, I've got to have a little fun, creative time or I will go stark raving mad!

We decided to each make 5 ornaments to exchange and these are the ones I made.

I feel pretty sure hers will put mine to shame. Lucky for me I can blame the stress of getting the house ready to sell for my lack of creative time and energy.

Also, it's lucky for me that Melissa is one of the sweetest, most appreciative people I know and she will probably love them (and me) anyway.

It was my intention to make 3 of each ornament so that Emma and I would each have a set for our Valentine trees. I still have 2 left to make for us and if we're being honest, we'll admit that they may not get made this year. Or ever.

Can't wait to get Melissa's in the mail and I'll be sure to share them when I do.

  4. Those are all wonderful! If that's what you can do when you're stressed from packing up and getting your home ready to sell, then I think perhaps we should warn Martha Stewart that she better watch her back! ;)

  7. Hi again Jen... Sorry, I should have been more specific about which picture I meant... I was referring to the bright fuschia pink and lighter pink wire beaded heart (or Christmas tree garland?) in the first picture. Where do you find those?
