In the Village there seems to be a surprise around every corner. This has got to be one of my favorites. Soon I'll show you more of the gorgeous gardens. Maybe one day I'll work up the nerve to knock on the door and see if I can photograph the inside of the house. It is clear from the outside that the owner is an artistic, free spirited soul.
Some surprises in the village are smaller but no less special. We find ourselves surrounded by squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks and even deer. We're a little bit country, a little bit rock and roll.
precious!!
ReplyDeletelove that you are having sweet suprises :)
Hope you are able to peek inside one day!!

Oh, do it! Do, knock on the door. It could be your next best friend! We all wanna see, too!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day. Kathy
Such a cute cottage, go ahead, knock on the door......let's see inside!
ReplyDeleteThe little cottage seems to be a little shy, but willing to be noticed.
ReplyDeleteYes, knock on the door! It might just surprise you.
Pretty sure this is called The Best of Both Worlds!
ReplyDeleteThat little shed is the darlingest. You will make someone's day when you ask if you can take some pics...Guaranteed.
But if I'm wrong, and you encounter a crotchety (albeit artsy) old man, don't come crying to me...
You know JenJen, you are making this Village sound so enticing - you've got me wanting to live in town! What would I do with the chickens!?
ReplyDeleteThis sounds wonderful to me! I love Zionsville. We, too, live in a small town (but close to Chicago-hoorah) and the atmosphere is so nice. We have an older home (1921) that we love although we always said we'd never want anything but new!! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your new area.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
It's too sweet for words!! When are we going to see the charming cottage you chose to live in?
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable cottage tucked in the garden.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful cottage!! And yes please do ask!! We want to see!!
ReplyDeleteAnd the bunny is adorable! :)
