This is my niece Emily. This week she schooled me in the proper way to eat a cupcake. In cupcake eating, as in life, Emily makes no apologies and enjoys everything with gusto. We could all learn from Emily.
This week has been full of pre-company frenzied cleaning, visits to the zoo, parks, various village hangouts, lots of meals eaten on porches and the lollygagging that immediately follows the departure of house guests. I hope you spent this past week taking a bite out of life too.
What a cute little girl!

I'm with Emily - enjoy everything with Gusto!! Adorable photo ... and boy that cupcake looks good :-)
ReplyDeleteNow that is one beautiful little girl. I bet her Mom is a knock out :o). But seriously, we had such a wonderful time. Alexandra, Charlie and especially Emily miss Emma so much. Can't wait until Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say that I love your blog and love things "cottage." I know that your move is hard, but exciting. My family and I are going through a move right now, but are in a time of waiting, and it is hard. However, I am awaiting and dreaming of when we can find and move into another cottage, and am enjoying seeing your transition and dreaming of my own.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Robin
She is a cutie Jen! Great pictures capturing her little personality.
ReplyDeleteCupcakes forever!
With extreme gusto! The only way to eat a cupcake! Sweet girl!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh! Emily is adorable. Tell her that some of us are WAY past being able to eat a cupcake (in any fashion) and get away with it!!! ... on second thought - don't tell her that..she will figure it out soon enough on her own!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I'm in the lollygagging stage now that our company has left.
