My Cup Runneth Over
I'm not sure I can properly express how special this past week was. Teresa and I spent the beginning of the week exploring the Village, shopping Anthropologie, eating lunches at my favorite Village bistros and treating ourselves to The Flying Cupcake. Then she gifted my family with her professional photography skills. I'll be sharing that soon but let me just say for now that her photographs brought tears to my eyes. It was one of the best gifts I've ever gotten.
On Thursday we traveled to Springfield, OH for the Flea Market Extravaganza and to meet up with our other homies Jayme and Shannan. It was everything I thought it would be. There was not a moment of silence from the time we met up squealing in a gas station parking lot to the moment Shannan finally shut her mouth late that night (really the constant buzz finally put me to sleep). We enjoyed monster margaritas, Happy Birthday singing (sorry T!), bargain hunting (pics to come soon), laughter, fair food, hugging (I rate Jayme the best hugger) and the tastiest french toast anyone ever cooked for me in a hotel room (thanks Jayme!) served on real plates with cloth napkins. Okay, so it was the only french toast anyone ever cooked for me in a hotel room but it actually ranks as the 2nd best french toast I've ever eaten anywhere!
Jayme, Shannan and Teresa are 3 of the most special women I know. They have all really been there for me this summer and I would do anything for any one of them. We are each so different, yet we are so much alike. These girls have each taken up permanent residence in my heart.
(Shannan and Teresa pictured above. I have one picture on my camera of me and Jayme but I'm afraid I look too bug-eyed and manic to post it even though Jayme looks gorgeous. My right...)
I know we get busy in our lives and don't always stop and enjoy our friends the way that we should. I'm so glad that I took this time because these 3 girls are just what I needed right now. Thank you Shanny, T and Jaymes. I love you girls so much!

Law girl - I keep thinking about our time together (way too short!) and I swear, there is a soft focus filter on you at all times - you are so beautiful! All I can say is - when am I coming to give you a scooter lesson!? I'll bring more honey cookies, AND make you some french toast! I think only God could put a foursome like us together, and I'm so glad He did.

I'm right on the verge of tears. How could you do this to me at this hour??? This past week was dreamy in so many ways. I think Jaymes is right - it had to be a God thing. And a margarita thing. And a junk thing.
