I'm always thinking of things I find that I want to share with you. Either things I personally love or things I've found that I'd love to have. It might be a product, a recipe, a book or a even a blog but it will definitely be something that is a favorite of mine. I'm hoping to share these with you on Fridays. Probably not every Friday, but often on Fridays.
This lip balm from Anthropologie. It's a good product and seriously how gorgeous is the container?
I love a fresh scent and I'm really loving this perfume right now.
This watch from Target which is a lot like one at Anthro but much easier on the wallet.
The movie Moonrise Kingdom. It's quirky but not so quirky that you don't get it. And it's funny! And the main female character reminds me of Emma. Or at least what Emma would be like if she were a little insane. Mostly I think it's her books, vintage clothes and her record player. And the kitten in the basket.
The book The Art of Handmade Living. There are a lot of fun projects in it. I can't wait to dive in and try some of them. Plus it's pure eye candy which is a requirement for me for any non-fiction book I buy.
This blog: My Old Country House
Seriously good stuff. How did I not know about this blog? Did you know about and you didn't tell me? Shame on you.
These are some of my favorites right now. I'd love to hear about some of yours and if you feel like blogging about them, come back by and leave a link in the comments. I love discovering new things.
I laughed when I read - "how gorgeous is the container". I am a sucker for great packaging.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip on the book - must find this weekend.
Now I am headed over to My Old Country House.
Thanks for all the tips.
Me too! I am a sucker for good packaging ha!

Hi Jen, Lesli from My Old Country House did a pet portrait for me for Christmas. (gift from Hubs)She is so talented! and so nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your list. I'd been looking for a new crafting/decor book to read on holiday, and now I have ordered the "Handmade Living" book on your reccommendation. Thank-you!
ReplyDeleteI am off to check that last blog out! I love all your favorites, Jen. One of my favorites today is sitting her beside a granddaughter that does not feel well. She told her Mom this morning -I want to spend the day at Nana's house-bless her little heart- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLovin' Friday Favorites! I've noticed throughout your blog and Instagram posts that I already have some of the exact products you love or I want to go find the items pictured. As in now...I'm on my way out to find that adorable watch at Target. I thought it was the one from Anthropologie that I had been eyeing but didn't want to pay quite that much for a "fun" watch. I simply adore cute/fun packaging. I'll go to Trader Joe's and buy something just because I love the package design (such as the Kettlecorn in the pink bag). :-) Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeletethis is a great, new feature for the cottage nest! i love reading about what my favorite bloggers are crushing on. look forward to more friday favorite posts!
