Gathered Finds Journal

Here's a peek at the project for my next class. I loved making this journal. You can never have too many of them, right?

For those of you that are local, I'll be teaching 2 morning classes for this project on Wednesday March 20 or Thursday March 21st from 10-12. Email me @ thecottagenest@gmail.com. The cost of the class is $35 for all supplies and tools. I'll be putting kits together as well and they will be $30 including shipping. You can also email me if you are interested in buying one of those.

A peek at the inside. I'm thinking of using this one as a before and after journal for the house. or a Summer journal. Or a studio project journal. The possibilities are endless!

If you like you can click on The Cottage Nest Makery tab on the blog for updated class/project information!

  10. At the high school the art students did something like this. They took a bunch of objects that shared a theme and a thick book and turned the cover into that theme. They also cut shapes in the pages and glued them together to make a cavity to put some more stuff in.

  14. This little journal is so beautiful -- and in all my favorite colors, too! Too bad DC isn't close to Indiana. :)

I just started following your blog and am working my way through the archives. We have very similar styles, so I love everything I see!
