Going with the Flow

A few months ago I was introduced to Flow Magazine. It's kind of an art and inspiration magazine based in the Netherlands. They now have International issues. Yippy skippy! I've never been so inspired by a magazine before and knew that since I rarely buy magazines anymore, that I would treat myself to the next issue. When I found out they had a new issue hitting the stands I decided to order it from their website rather than wait to find it at my local newsstand, mostly because I was dying to get my hands on their 2014 agenda too.

I placed my order and waited. And waited. I hadn't gotten so much as a confirmation email. I tried to contact them through their website without luck and finally reached out to them via Instagram.

I got an immediate response and the next day they had a package in the mail to me. Of course it was torture waiting the almost two weeks for it to travel so far but when I opened it, it was totally worth the wait! They had tucked all kinds of extras in my package as an apology for my trouble. Aside from my magazine and agenda, they sent me the last magazine, a blank journal, a poster and a bunch of postcards. It's like they know me. Hand me a bouquet of pretty things I can forgive most any transgression. Plus they were just so nice!

I am a stickler for good customer service and sadly, it is harder and harder to come by these days but the ladies at Flow went above and beyond and I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. As a matter of fact they have a new book coming out called the Flow Book for Paper Lovers that I'm pretty sure I NEED. Me and pretty paper are like peas and carrots.

And then, as if I weren't already giddy enough, I opened the agenda and it is filled with all kinds of extras. Things like a mini bunting and envelopes and these stickers. My heart was racing. The quality is amazing.

Who needs a manicure? I'd rather spend my money on pretty planners thank you. These illustrations speak to me. In my next life I'm going to be a fabulous illustrator. Who has a beautiful singing voice. And is independently wealthy. But I digress...

For now I'll settle for recording my daily thoughts and activities here in my paper happy place.
