This fantasically adorable vase came from Dawn at Plum Tree Antiques. While visiting her blog quite a while back, I linked over to her store's blog and found some treasures I just had to have. This vase was a last minute impulse purchase and as it turns out, my favorite thing I bought that day. It's a bit of a leap of faith for me to buy things on line like that but it was a great experience and Dawn & her business partner Cindy are very easy to work with.
Jen,
ReplyDeleteYour post inspired me to photograph some of my own lilacs in the garden today. They are heavenly and are at their peak here in CT. Your blog is wonderful and I am happy to meet you.
Enjoy Spring while it lasts!
Kindest regards,
Laurie
This wasn't the best year for lilacs, but at least we had a few blooms. Don't they smell just heavenly?
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!
ReplyDeleteI will have to check that website for some treasures.

Jen lilacs are one of my very favorite flowers too. We used to have a wonderful huge bush when we lived in St. Louis and I so miss the sweet smell and the pretty flowers. I love your vase that you put them in. What a wonderful find. Hope you had a lovely Mothers Day with your family . RJ
ReplyDeleteJen, we only had a few lilacs this year, too. The white ones never made it out but the purple ones did. I love lilacs, too! The little vase is just precious. I will definitely be checking out Dawn's site. Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteHi Jen! As I clicked on your link and scrolled down to look at your latest post, the little vase started looking vaguely familiar! I love that sweet thing and doesn't it look so precious with lilacs spilling out the back...thank you so much for your kind words about our store and Cindy and I, you're a pleasure to do business with! Take care xxoo, Dawn
ReplyDeleteI miss lilacs! I used to have a huge one when I lived in NJ. When we bought this house there were two lilac bushes and I was so excited. But we never got more than a few blooms no matter what I did. Why don't they make a variety that will grow in the south!
ReplyDeleteYour's look lovely in that vase!
It is adoriable!! The flowers too :)
ReplyDeleteI've missed out on lilacs living in the South, too....I had my first experience (heavenly!) with them at my BIL's home in Chicago. The vase is very sweet, too!
