Got Prayer?

No pictures today. No carefree postings. I'm shaking as I type this. I come to you today more scared than I've ever been in my life, asking you to pray for me and my family. About 10 or 11 years ago I took the diet drug known as phen fen. I have apparently suffered some damage to my heart from it. I have a doctor's appointment today at 2:40 to find out what this is going to mean to us. I humbly ask you to send your prayers, good vibes and well wishes my way. I'm trying to hold it together here and not doing a good job at all. I could use the strength of everyone I know right now. Love, Jen

  3. My prayers are with you and your family. I know that shaking while you type feeling. When I was 31, I had a mole removed and the biopsy came back as malignant melanoma - the deadliest form of skin cancer. It made me come to grips with my own mortality in a way that I had never imagined before. It wasn't an easy time but I now just know it is out of my control so I don't worry as much since it is fruitless - now I just trust in God and hope that his plan for me is to be around for my kids for a long, long time. And I try to enjoy life a lot more! I pray that you will be just fine and that you can walk away from this strengthened.

  6. Jen,
Lifting you up in prayer...I know that it is frightening to learn something could be going on. I will stand firm with you and believe that whatever this is....God will take you in his healing hands and refresh your heart and body. I like what Joyce Meyers says...FEAR...is false evidence appearing real. I believe that you are fearful b/c of the unknown...but soon will learn that you need not fear.

I'll leave you with 2 scriptures...
Mark 5:36 KJV...Be not afraid, only believe.

1Peter 5:7 NIV...Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

I'll keep you in my prayers and pray for a good report today.

    Blessings...
    Teresa

  8. Rest in the Lord and He will comfort you. Our prayers go up to Him on your behalf, know that He hears and is with you. Faith will overcome any fear -- take courage from that and from the love of those around you.

  12. My favorite verse for any time I feel afraid or worried is Jeremiah 29:11. "I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

I will pray for you today.
    Hugs, Susan
