Tis the Season

Garage sale season will soon be gearing up in my little corner of the world. I'm getting things ready for our annual neighborhood sale the 2nd weekend in May. Garage sales. They always sound like such a good idea. And then you remember just how much work they are. This year I'm motivating myself by making a list of the things I hope to use the profits towards. I'm really looking forward to getting rid of what I don't need so that I can better organize what I do need. When it's all over I'll swear it's the last one, but then like with childbirth, I will forget just how much pain was involved in the process and will focus instead on the end result.
So if you're in the neighborhood on May 9th and 10th come by & visit. Maybe you'll even want to stop & buy refreshments from this girl.

  1. I clicked on your link back to the lemonade stand. Such sweetness. Your daughter is lovely and I hope has equal success this year! I'd drop by if I was in the neighborhood.

  2. Hi,
I found your blog through Rue. I too am getting ready for my annual home decor (okay that's just classy name for garage sale) this Thursday and Friday. You are so right, you forget how much work they are. I am pooped already and I haven't even had it yet. Anyway, nice to meet you and I hope you can drop by sometime.
